I think “active collabos” and resistants were a fringe of the population, and the most part of people were in that “grey zone”.

people who didn’t like the fact that France was occupied by enemies but who had to follow the rules of the occupying army, even if they didn’t like it, just for “life to goes on”, because they couldn’t afford to flee or leave their family. There was also various ways to resist, the first level being just to keep your mouth shut on what you knew. Most people did both: collaborating AND resisting.

I’m not so sure about your figures. There were different kinds of collaboration: one was the “active” collaboration, from people willing to help the Germans out of political conviction, or trying to take advantage of the situation to make money or business, and the “grey zone”, including the most part of the population:

I saw the film in the cinema. I cried so mush. It was so emotional ,and all I can think about is - that's my history, all that horrible things did happened to innocent people, my people! I can't believe that it was only 65 years ago....

I want to say for SOME people, who are saying that jews were killed like everyone else in ww2, and only they doing such propoganda...man...what are you doing in history lessons??? I mean, yes, everyone were killed in ww2, but nazis were racist and they wanted to kill ALLL JEWS! i was holocaust! ALL JEWS! ALL! EVERY SINGLE!!!! to destroy them race.
