Bird On A Broken Wing

A song I wrote last year and recently re-recorded on Piano. Posted as a thank you to all the people who have subscribed and commented here and elsewhere. Big thanks - I was at a pretty low point earlier on in the year - all the little things add up - to a positive. So yeah - I was like a bird on a broken wing You kept me safe and now alone I sing for you set me free - I was like a ship lost far out at Sea - I heard your voice calling out to me from the rolling shores of home = How could I not believe in the light that shines on me? How could I not feel love in the aor that I breathe?

This song is going on a collection - shortly to be avaiable as a Limited CD - "Line in the Sand" - I am still sorting out the running order and deciding which tracks are in and which ones to leave out of the bag. If you would like a free copy let me know - first 50 requested get sent free too.

Ah I'm finally catching up my friend! Hope you are having a good day. Beautiful song. Nice sailing at the end there, i like it. Very deep contemplations, by all means. How is it we make it through this life without completely dissolving every day.. i don't know. We just keep on, yes. Glad you've made it through. :D
