Finally, a good linux webcam recording program! http://www.nixiepixel.com GUVCviewer is found in the Ubuntu software repositories as well as in many major distributions. With it, you can easily view, record, and edit video from your webcamera. In this video I review GUVCviewer and show you some of what it can do on my Logitech cam.

Nice review. I'm a beginner in linux. I saw you flipped your webcam; how do you do that? When I install GUVC, it's upside down, I don't know how to turn it around. I just found out it's the same in my skype. So how do I turn it right side up? I have a fujitsu lh531 laptop. Thank you. I use linux mint 12 btw. Thank you in advance
