ATI Radeon HD 5870 X2 (ASUS ARES). A lot of people think that the 5970 is two 5870 GPU's when it's actually two 5850 GPU's. This is probably a video card I might even want to bust out the checking account for, way too expensive for me.

@pawlik22 this card has less tesselation power than a gtx 470, let alone a 480 or a 580. the ares is a stupid marketing ploy and nothing more. i feel sorry for the poor saps that got suckered in to buying one. for this price, you could SLI two GTX 580s, which would be 50% faster than this card. it's just dumb.
not to mention people like me that water cool. you can't find a block for this card, which means *gulp* air cooling. lame!

This card is retarded for a few reasons.
1) show me a game that will use more than 1.5GB of video memory. (don't bother, you won't find one)
2) the drivers suck. they're modified catalyst drivers from ASUS. You can't crossfire, and eyefinity is buggy as hell.
3) the cost is just outright dumb.
