  • This is one of your best videos, Step!

But putting "don't make this your God" on the dollar bill might be considered,by some, to be over stepping the bounds of church and state in a different way. What if there are people actually do believe that money is God? It would be kind of like putting "don't make Allah your God" on the bill. As usual, I'm over thinking this.

  • HA, yes, this old video? Yea, I would be fine not having anything on there. How about "We the People"?

  • wasn't 'in god we trust' added to the bill in 1950s as a McCarthy gimmick to define USA as Christian opposed to the USSRs atheism? Also, Jesus taught quite explicitly that he had come for the poor, not the rich, and that money was a secular, worldly concern (give to caesar what is his).

    Preaching to the choir here.

  • I am dumb-founded as to why this isn't a no-brainer to more thiests. Thank you.

  • Good video. But I will suggest "Don't worship this" instead of your phrase.

And you almost equated atheists with greedy capitalists.

  • Greedy capitalists come in all flavors. And "Don't worship this" is better.

  • bull - shit

  • Look guys, the Bible doesn't say that money is evil. It says that the LOVE of money is evil.

  • Step is one of the most liberal and dare I say christ-like christians that I have had the pleasure of experiencing on YT or elsewhere. I believe that he does.

  • Awesome message!

  • lol, having "In God We Trust" has nothing to do with what the bible says,

or for that matter, what the churches, government members, or any one else.

it's a violation of the rights of the American citizens as stated in the constitution which promotes the freedom of religion, and the separation of church and state.

    its a violation of liberty.

  • A step in the right direction...I like the suggestion...I'm glad you see that the two should be kept separate as well, but does that same mentality carry over for you into other aspects as well? Sep. of Church and State? Prayer in Schools? This is something we can agree on...religion has its place; government has its place as well. They are NOT the same places.
