Pan Am Railways travels westbound through Danville Junction in Auburn Maine on a rainy, windy afternoon. Danville Junction is where PAR crosses with the St. Lawrence and Atlantic Railroad.
Unfortunately a wrong setting on my camera prevented me from getting the locomotives on video, but they were MEC 514 followed by MEC 507
Danville Junction is currently going through a construction project that includes laying some new rail and and upgrade to the PAR grade crossing including the new signal and gates with electronic bell seen here.
At the end of the video one, one impatient driver can't wait for the gate to rise and drives around it. Not a smart move with the amount of rail traffic and tracks that are here.
