The Doctor losing Rose causes him to become unstable. His merciless qualities begin to take affect as his dark side swallows up the happy alter ego having lost the light of his life. As he reflects on losing Rose the Doctor comes to realize the memories are too painful to bear and that she has destroyed him. He also sees that he is now truly alone with no companion that is the same as Rose.
I love this song and thought it was perfect to depict the Doctor's degenerative and deadly side - which rashly takes over at some points of the series e.g. family of blood.

Enough of my blabbering on with dw trivia and enjoy!

I love the way you edit it, to show the Doctor facing himself in the mirror, "right now, you're facing the only man in the universe who might show you some compassion." It's meant to be a dalek of course... but as has been said by one who knows, "you'd make a good dalek, Doctor." Very good video!
