I never knew this was ringo when it first come out, I was just 12, I thought it was some cool funny oddball rich english country dude for years.

Ringo always had that cool backbeat that always got ya dancing!!Even if you don`t like dancing!

Holy crap... I first saw this when it came out in 1981. Now I was too young to know who Ringo was or who the Beatles were, and I saw this once. I misremembered it as a country song for some reason and was more interested in the haunted house aspect of it. I've looked for it several times and finally found it now. Thanks for uploading it, but now I have so many more questions... like why is Ringo dressed like the Fonz?

Another one for my top 20 Ringo tracks 1970-2011!

@ShermanJeep you should listen to the lyrics a bit better, they tell of Georges frustration with the changing music industry and how it was starting to package people to what they wanted more instead of what the artists actually were, thats why the Beatles rebelled in the mid sixtys and became what they wanted instead.

ahh this song is so ringo, I just love his voice and his general angle on stuff

This is the worst song Ringo ever did. Shame George had anything to do with it. "Wrack My Brain" should be "Wreck" instead of wrack. It's a very poor song.

Listen to they lyrics. You'll hear George's anger and utter frustration at the music business and popuar culture of the late 1970's. ("Tried to do/My best for you....What I have, you don't want/What you want I can't give.....There's no way I can see/Of coming up with something you'd enjoy as much as TV....All the same/I'll play the game/Up and down old memory lane.......)

@DeepSouthWrestling1 It's called a "deja vu". This is what happens when you hear a great tune. You have the feeling you've heard it before when it wasn't so. I had the same feeling with a lot of Beatles songs. But with the years I've realized I was hearing them for the very first time, but you already know how they go before they finish. Try to listen "It's Only Love" or "Rain" and tell me if you don't get that feeling also.
Yes, that's Barbara ;-)
