  • I'm so sorry I didn't see your comment earlier... I assume your play is over by now! The answer is that the roll out icing will last for a very long time - especially if you use it on a polystyrene dummy cake. As it's basically sugar it acts as its own preservative. Just don't keep it in the fridge or it will 'sweat'.

  • will that rot if you have it out for a long time? I need to make a fake cake as a prop for a play but we still have a few months will it last that long?
