How To Open Your Nat Open With Bigpond Modems!!!!!! (Ps3)

Method 1 :
1- Sign Everyone Out
2- Type in browser: 10.0.0.138
3- Go to Gaming and Application sharing
4- Configure(top right)
5- Turn off UPnP
6- Test Connection From Xbox/Ps3
7- Configure
8- Turn On UPnP
9- Test Connection Again...

Method2 :
Step 1- On your PC go to start click on run copy and paste this command. telnet 192.168.1.254 (press enter) (You may need to enable telnet sessions, Google/search the start bar)
This will open a telnet session with your modem, you will then be asked for a Username and Password.
Username: admin (press enter)
Password: your modems password (usually blank by default) (press enter)
Step 2- copy and paste these 4 command lines one at a time pressing enter after each one is done.
:connection bind application=CONE(UDP) port=3074-3075
:connection bind application=CONE(UDP) port=3478-3479
:connection bind application=CONE(UDP) port=3658
:saveall
then close the telnet session
Step 3- Reboot your modem (just power off and back on) not always needed but is helpful to do after changes made.

If Method 2 dosent work with the telnet thing its means your ip address is wrong so go to google and type 'what is my ip' and it will tell you what it is.

I did all that to the exact, I turned it off. Tested connection and had a Type 3. Then I turned it back on and had a Type 2, Type 2 being good. I went to MW3 and it said it was still Strict. Any help? I might ring bigpond and tell them to stop fucking me around.

@TechiProductions if you had a open NAT in mw2 go on mw2 and go back to mw3 and you should have a open NAT

@supafob8 Yes i did that to for a while but then method 2 worked for me. To get the ip that works got to google and type 'What is my ip' and it will say your ip then from there copy that ip in to run but put telnet in front of it eg . telnet 69.0.96
