Its actually just a Bible story with a twist. Her boyfriend didn't get cancer
-
It's "I buried those scissors in the yellow light." :)

The song is about her boyfriend who got cancer.

@Jcoolia I agree! I can't quite figure out the differences, though, but it just sounds better! Do you know why there are two different versions? o.O

@SammyBooHoo It's a story about a dude that had really long hair and was strong because of it, then his little girlfriend cut off his hair and he lost his strength so he was arrested and blinded. after that he somehow grew his hair out being imprisoned and knocked over the pillars that held the building up and killed himself and the jerks that arrested him. but this song is about his lover feeling bad about it I guess. it's a really old story and true. :D

@coolhoney234 I think "Samson" had cancer i guess since she said she dosent hav hair :P (:
i think, that she doesnt mean the biblestory.the mainfacts are different:
- cutting the hair was alright
- he coudnt destroy the columns
- the bible DIDN'T mention them
what do you think about the idea that it is about cancer?wonderbread is the chemo, the "sheets of paper" is the diagnosis, the columns are the metastases and cutting/losing the hair which is a reverse reaction of the chemo weakens the samson from the song.
and even if this story is as tragic as the biblestory it will be forgotten.
