when you go from nitro to brushless, do you need a smaller or a bigger motor pinion? (number of teeth)
-
what motor mount did you use, and where did you get it? I hope to convert my XT2

@TAMIYA911 hi i dont use this motor mount anymore (a boat mount) it was to weak and keeped bending, iv made a new one out of 10mm aluminium now but if you wont a direct swap get the motor mount for the XT2E just type xt2e motor mount into google

@xgouldiex Thanks very much. R u sure the xt2e motor mount bolts straight on without any drilling to the chassis? Thanks

@TAMIYA911 yeah im sure my mate converted his xt2 and he purchased the xt2e mount and it bolts directly in. the xt2e is identical to the xt2 accept the new electronic mounts (motor mount. esc mount . battery trays)

It all depends on the motor and also what size batteries u use. just keep an eye on the temepratures, if they get to high the you will need a smaller pinion gear. on this buggy it has a 14tooth pinion the same as the nitro engine but it suits the motor. hope this helps

how much did the motor cost

@boomhower0 alrite mate, this motor only cost me 20 pond as i got it of a mate. but new there about 45. but if your thinking of getting one of these i would have a look at the XL size of this motor as its only 5 pound more (50) but packs a punch . going to be getting one myself
