As an old Lincoln Park guy I don't feel I've ever had a solid grasp on the question of why people who can afford to live there opt for Bucktown instead.

So, I asked Baird & Warner's Robert John Anderson to put me in his car, drive me around the neighborhood he's called home since the mid-80s, and talk to me about Bucktown. The biggest surprise to me was the number of new homes that are under construction on multiple lots.

A ramble around a neighborhood with a broker who knows it well is, in my take, one of the better ways to understand a place you're unfamiliar with. Hope you agree.
