Most people don't know the story of the screensaver Johnny Castaway, a story which takes place over the timespan of 11 days. The story scenes are rarely and randomly shown on the screensaver, which makes it nearly impossible to know how the full story exactly goes... until now. What happened to the pirates, the party on the yacht and fishing. He has to go fishing first before he meets the mermaid as he catches the Titanic ring, which he then gives to the mermaid. Apart from that jolly good effort.

@CasatechEuropa: Those are all regular scenes or end scenes, not story scenes. Each day has just one story scene and is marked by that particular "bling sound" in the beginning of it. You can find all other scenes in my Johny Castaway playlist.

I used to have this screensaver in the 90's and never forgot it. Now I have it again for Windows 7 but am not getting all the scenes that are displaybed by ruudje1976. I do see the mermaid but not in the scenes displayed here. I do remember much more in the 90s..I just hope the conversion has not lost these scenes. I get more of the liliputions, dressed naked in costume, the party boat and the bottle with the SOS.

I heard rumors about the scene where Johnny is in the office thinking about the island. I thought it was urban legend, turns out it's true! Never saw any of those story scenes.

This popped in to my head out of nowhere last night. I spent what ended up probably being hours watching this in an office I worked in in the mid-90's, yet I remember none of this story line. Only the wacky random encounters. Thanks for posting this. It was, and still is, the coolest screen saver I have ever seen.
