there are alot more delted scnes. Both Helena Bonham Carter and Raplh Fienes stated in interviews that there was alot of fighting scenes cut from the film.

Away from the battle there was alot more else that wasn't included. The Young Dumbledore/ Gellert Grindelwald backstory was filmed with jamie campbell bower (out of twilight) playing gellert grindelwald (you can see him in a silent cameo in DH1) and other actors playing young aberforth and albus dumbledore, but none of it was in the film.

the draco part wouldnt have fit, thats why it wasnt in the movie. it doesnt make any sense.

here's what i think happened. the editors had a deadline and they finished in a rush, leaving out scenes we know they didn't want to leave out, like the remus and tonks scene, scenes at shell cottage, etc. This is why i refuse to buy the DVD now. i'm suer they will make a directors cut in a few years and it will have all of this stuff, especially considering the movie was only 2 hours and the rest in the series are 2 and a half hours.
