  • haha it looked like you were goin through the tunnel fast cuz u were scared hahaha jk, cool vid

  • haha nah. I like tunnels cause it amplifies the sound and sounds cool. Check out my vids of my Acura going through some tunnels.

  • I was recently on that exact rail grade and we rode on an ATV too it was pretty cool but I never got 2 see any trains there

  • There arent any trains there..not that I know of

  • enjoy it while it lasts, theres a railbed like that where i live and they turned it into a walking trail and dont allow motorized vehicles on it anymore

  • read the desription. some group of people (I guess) got permission to convert an old railroad bed into a motorized vehicle trail.

There is another very long railroad bed like this along the Coquihalla highway in the southern middle part of BC thats probably 200 kms or so long. Again, its designated to motorized vehicles.

    Where do you live exactly?

  • woohoo :)

  • Something spooky to the left at 0:24.

  • Is this trail still open? We'd love to come and check it out!

    Cheers from Calgary.!

  • can you get me the Location of this trail?

  • Thanks, I knew it was sometime around the late 80's. I grew up in Castlegar and moved back fall of 1990 and remember when they started pulling the tracks out a couple years later. Wasn't long after that when we started using it with quads and after we compacted the ballast into a smooth hard surface, the bicycles came along.

  • @kootenaycat the last train run accured in december 1990 and track pulled up that summer in 1991. Hope that info helps.

  • I believe you, but you know the trains were last on the in the 80's, right? Kind of hard to have them without the rails! : )

  • @kootenaycat I joke you not, there are some train pics from that exact grade.

  • No kidding? You are joking right?
