I hope you don't plan on taking a safe limousine to the rich people party on the hill, since it won't need to be inspected by the DOT. Of course, your mansion could burn down or cave in while you're at work, since it doesn't need to be inspected by the fire marshal or comply with building codes.

The military is bankrupting America. The Pentagon is a giant money wasting turd which is committing treason by giving taxpayers money to incompetent contractors.

Beck wants the Government to stay out of private business, but fails to notice that Corporations own most of the politicians.

Hey, here's an idea, maybe the government should use taxpayers money to benefit taxpayers?

Under the Republican system the taxpayer pays but gets nothing in return, because it all goes to the corporations.

I think its the government's main job should be military and police/fireforce then schools and roads. Not to take "care" of us , to "baby" us not to give people money and food. I think that is your responsibility as a human being.

Murtah - 1) The constitution doesn't say a damn thing about protecting life, liberty or the pursuit of happiness 2) One stated purpose of government by the constitution is to promote the general welfare - it states it twice. The purpose of government is to protect it's citizens and to enact laws which benefit their well being (welfare). Believe it or not - all these things including hc are constitutional.

@xnothingbutthetruth The problem is it's not 20$ a week in order to pay for the Obama care taxes need to be at 70% of your total income and that's assuming everyone is paying taxes. And please tell me one efficient thing the government does other than screw us, do you really want them in charge of our health care? @ZeonicL Our government's job isn't supposed to take care of us, it's supposed to protect our right to take care of ourselves. We are supposed to Watch out for ourselves The government is supposed to protect our rights to do so and not bud in other wise. Think about it, the type of government that watches out for you (and watches you) and takes care of you (gives you everything it believes you need) is a communist one.

You idiots Read the US constitution and try to comprehend it's meaning, it is not the US governments job to take care of us or watch out for us as in, it's not the governments job to provide our dinner, it's not the government's job to decide what we can be when we want a career. The US government's only real job is to protect our US constitutional rights of Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness. The Government isn't supposed to provide for you, it's supposed to protect your rights to provide.
