JT on CAROLINA IN MY MIND: "When I wrote it, I knew I had something. It was very early on and it did a job on me. It did some work for me. Internal work for me. Well, there's no better feeling when one comes thru and it falls into place like that. And somehow solves a puzzle for you. In a way that comes from inside of you but it's outside."

sometimes music speaks better than a thousand words. It's very nice that Paul introdued James into the hall of fame. too bad Paul didnt show up to George's post-humous induction.

Here at 2:10 James Taylor describes himself as a folksinger, and tells how he got his start through Paul McCartney, and how he asked Paul to introduce him at the Hall of Fame induction.

Hey Didn't Paul McCartney play Bass on the original version of Carolina In My Mind? And didn't George Harrison play guitar on JT's first album too?

James seems to be struggling with his speech. But either way, genius, nonetheless.
