PHOENIX39 PRESENTS THE ALL FANDOM CROSSOVER SHIPPER CONTEST! OLD AND NEW VIDS ALLOWED!

1. (ALMOST) ALL FANDOMS ALLOWED: TV, Movies, Books, anime. NO GAME FANDOMS (like World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy) Okay, I know the title say 'All Fandom.' Sue me.

2. Must be a crossover: ships, triangles, even trapazoids are allowed. The catch is that every person of the ship must be from a different fandom. Have you ever given any thought to Dexter Morgan/Claire Bennet? What about Veronica Mars/Peter Petrelli/Elena Gilbert? What if Sam Winchester saves Blaire Waldorf from a ghost, but she's in love with Dr. House, who just happens to be dating the newly divorced Sandra Bennet?

3. No character under the age of 16 may be shipped. If you're unsure of anyone, just ask me! Harry Potter characters ARE allowed. Claire from Heroes IS allowed.

4. Three entries per vidder. But vidders will only win once each.

5. Entries by the same person must have a different song and different characters (same fandoms are fine). This is all about experimenting and having fun!

6. Please submit entries as a video response. If you would like to enter a video that is not on Youtube or has been audio swapped, please respond with a teaser (muted is fine) or the audio swapped vid and have a link to the actual vid in the sidebar (BAM, Vimeo...).

7. NEW DEADLINE: April 1, 2010.

8. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places and I would like to try a voting poll for People's Choice.

9. PRIZES- All winners will receive: a winning graphic, subscription, video sent to friends.

Awesome!! I actually have a video I'd like to enter, but I'm not sure about characters ages. It's Claire Bennet from Heroes and Alex Rider from Operation:Stormbreaker. He's technically 15, but I'm hoping because the two are so close in age (at least, in the beginning of Heroes), this would be acceptable. What do you say?

Yeah, that's fine. The main people of the SHIP must be from different fandoms. Secondary characters from the same fandoms to build plot are fine.

Another question (yes, another. =)

It says each person of the ship must be from a different fandom. Does that mean that the people leading up to the ship have to be from a different fandom? (Ex. I want to do a Sylar/Ruby video with a plot; but for this specific plot to work, I want to include a couple characters from the same show, if only for a couple seconds. Acceptable?
