Yea, I live right next to the train station and its always filled with people coming from our bordering towns.

When they built this new station around 1999 or so, why did they have to put it out in the middle of nowhere, and not in the center of town?

There's not enough parking downtown - and business owners didn't want all the slots filled with commuters. This location also allows access directly from Rt135 through the woods - so it makes it handier for people living in Holliston and eastern Hopkinton.
