Rock climbing movements should include keeping the arms long, using the feet to walk on the wall and flagging out by using the leg like a kickstand. Train for rock climbing with a qualified instructor using advice from an experienced rock climber in this free video on rock climbing.

  • Dave, the reason you keep your body clsoe the wall usually is so that it is under your arms and above your feet. The wall is he climbing is overhung--leaning back outwards--so the most efficient move is to hang straight down from your arms, which is what he's doing.
