Dear Jason,
Here's my intro to Minstrel's Tale:
"A Minstrel's Tale" was my directorial debut in the film making industry. It was also my directorial finale. I created this work of art for an 11th grade French IV project. You'll notice that there isn't a word of French spoken in the film; that's because the class was more focused on French history and culture rather than language. So, in the film, I tried to portray what normal feudal life was like in medieval France: knights, lepers, parties in castles, speaking English, catapults, magic, dragons, death metal, sword fighting, pathetic Scottish accents. It has everything."
Sincerely,
Kevin Briggs
