  • What kind of weird Aikido i that supposed to be? For once there was no real ikkyo, and kotegaeshi is a wrist throw at waist level. I have been practising Aikido for many years but this was almost painful to watch.

  • It's funny because the text says "Elbow Control" and freezes to demonstrate complete lack of elbow control.

  • Bullshit! Stop it. Please

This is worse than drunk dance.

  • Where's your posture, blue belt?

  • @CaesarRex it is the ancient art of the McDojo. This interesting art form is signified by a person watching a video of a martial art (be it judo, aikido, karate, etc.), buying some sort of martial arts uniform (even if it's the wrong one for the art), and teaching the ancient art of Give Me Your Money and I Will Teach You Absolute Bollocks Under the Name of a Real Art.

  • @CaesarRex Everything true but he never mentioned ikkyo and for the technique he was trying but failing to do wouldn't have an ikkyo in it. I prefer shihonage from this type of opening.

  • I didn't see the Uke loose his balance. He could have pulled his elbow to his body and punched you with his other hand. Also this says "kotegaeshi ", where is the kotegaeshi? Kotegaeshi means out-wrist-turn. This throw would normally break a wrist, you aren't even gripping his hand, only forearm. Sorry but too many flaws.

  • You should delete this video. And training much more. In a real dojo.

  • Please, delete that video. A beginner should not try to teach others how to do.

  • Crap. Learn Aikido before teaching it to others.. incorrect teaching doesn't help anyone.

  • Yep... that's what I meant... he completely failed to control the elbow.

  • don't just pull him on to to his stomach. keep the preasure of kotegaeshi on his wrist and spin his hand and fore arm parallel to the floor . that way you will be making him turn over.
