iPhone 3G 4.1 Camera Roll Black Blank Curtain

Updated my iPhone 3G to 4.1 from 4.0 this morning. When I view my Camera Roll the second half of the pictures have a black curtain over them. If you click on the black area the photos still load.

Anyone else having this problem? Any ideas on a fix?

This also happened to me when I updated to 4.0.1,I was hoping that the problem would be solved by 4.1-obviously not!!!!! :( apple are seriously starting to piss me off,I can't remember the last time an update ran smoothly!!!

@pornopaskin I've never had an issue with my photos until I upgraded to 4.1 this morning. I wonder why it is doing this? Phone is running a lot faster with 4.1 over 4.0 so that's good.

@dylanpatel121 I have an iphone 4, had a 3GS for a year before that and this wasn't a common problem - it's like wading through treacle to find the solution, though *grin*. I see this is 4 months old, so hopefully, if it ever does happen with your 4, you'll know what to do (see my post above)

Has everyone done the 'triple tap with 3 fingers' partial reset? I can clearly remember having a total freak out when my home screen and everything from then on went completely black, even though, when I turned on the 'voice', it told me that my commands were working. To recap, hold 3 fingers side by side and then tap the screen 3 times in succession, quickly. Hope this helps xx

Haha, Ive seen this error on my cousins iPhone 4!!!!!!

we took all photos out and, then we did a restore... and put them back in. working fine!
