Slalom paddlers from the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand compete on Roaring Meg rapids just above the power station. The river is deep and swirly as you will see, and it created some random times. Donald Johnstone (DJ) of NZ is the guy in the blue kayak near the end who not only crosses the river on a single paddle stroke, but also nails the upstream gate and the two downstream gates following.
