More videos at www.indianarog.com This video features a made up turbine/generator combo. Turbine was taken off a Jensen 95G steam plant and was originally made by Karsten Gintschel of Germany. Generator is a stock Jensen 15BL (ball bearing equipped). I've added a power shutoff switch for the generator to permit unloading some of the generator drag and allowing for higher speeds. The works is mounted on a nice piece of routered walnut. Steam pressure is being supplied by my Jensen 51 replica and is approximately 28-30 pounds during the filming. The 95G turbine is a real steam hog and this setup better satisfies it's needs given the large boiler on the 51 replica. Steam is routed to the turbine via silicone tubing connected to a modified whistle allowing on and off steam release at the boiler.
