On December 27, 2008, Israel began one of the bloodiest attacks on Gaza Since 1948. The three week assault killed some 1400 Palestinians and 13 Israelis. One year later, little to no rebuilding has taken place and the siege in Gaza continues.

Speaking in Watertown, Massachusetts on December 6, 2009, linguist and social critic Noam Chomsky delivered a talk entitled Gaza: One Year Later.

@C0Y0TE5 i have watched the video twice and yes i can confirm that it is the english language that he is using, very easy to understand and verify with a little research of the released documents, so i would suggest taking chomskys advice and like the man has said in previous interviews "don' take my word for it just look at the evidence. and unlike the people he is talking about, if you were to email him he would give you the sources. so dont listen to this chaps bile, think for yourselves

Chomsky is a propagandist and a liar. Remember that he is a linguist, which means that he is an expert at distorting language for his own chauvinistic prejudices. Unless the viewer is also an expert at language and politics, there is no way that the layman can easily discern the trickery employed by this man's rambling jumbled ranting to tease any truths out. It is far safer for the non-expert to take whatever this propagandist says with a serious dose of salt. Buyer Beware!
