Damn I love the blues. Gives you a feeling of being home, I dunno how to explain it but other blues lovers would know what I mean. You feel at peace, content, warm. It's the only kind of music that's ever had such a strong impact on me. First time I heard it as a kid I had no idea what it was, but I knew I loved it.

Not all the blues sound the same or else you suffer an auditive impairment! Most of the blues share a common structure, true, but differences in melody and harmony are almost endless, not to speak about character and other nuances.
