In this experiment, replicating the results of Smith & Samuelson 2010, the iCub robot is shown 2 different objects each in a unique location before it's attention is drawn to one of these (now empty) locations and the word 'modi' is spoken. The robot is then shown both objects in a new location and asked which one is the 'modi'. It then looks at the object previously associated with the labelled spatial location. This is part of ongoing work exploring spatial biases in categorisation.
