RNC Chairman Michael Steele interview with GQ.
GQ: Well, would you have this job if you were white?
Steele: "would I have this job if I were white? [long pause] The answer to that is I don"t know. I don"t know. That"s a very good question. And it says a lot about, I think, where the party is right now that I can"t answer it."

Steele needs to find something to do. I know rebuild the Republican party and Sarah Palin out.

I'm sure that if she was talking to a Democrat she WOULD mention it. She just wanted to see someone's view on their own party's ideas. Also he did mention that there has been talk on both sides of the aisle, though I grant that that isn't the same thing as her saying it.

I agree that ' flipping the bird' is inappropriate language, but I don't know what the fuzz is about Steele accepting money for speaking engagements...politicians do that regularly...
...and, I would like to see the journalist address democrats calling people oposing their plans ' racist', ' nazis', or ' fascists', or even, calling peole going to the tea parties ' tea baggers' - things much worse than Steele's comment

more like 20,000 for acting gigs. they dress him up tell him what to say and the public is suppose to buy the bullshit he is selling

Judd Gregg is to be commended for showing some dignity, something that is quite rare in the GOP these days.

Wouldn't matter if he were white, or pokka dot green and orange.
The guy is nothing more than a clown when it comes to public policy.
Steele is a fucking joke.

Why doesn't she address that a Democrat on the floor called Barack Obama's opposition Nazis.
She's not a journalist. Period.
