@apbriggs07 Time 5 laps (in seconds) and then use 1118/time. This will give you the actual speed (not scale speed) in mph. I was there that day, it was circulating at just under 120mph. On t he next run it went a bit quicker and flew! info, each lap is 100m, we always time over 500m, normally using 2 or 3 watches - they are normally within a few hundreths of a second.

Great video! I have been fascinated with flash steam plants for many years. H.H Grove's mini plant for an airplane has particularly intrigued me. I've built a lot of engines and boilers (traditional low pressure) and can appreciate the engineering in your plant. Great job!
