  • It's a technique called harp harmonics. Check out Lenny Breau. Basically you play a single note or an entire chord like I did, and you pluck with your thumb and slightly touch the same note 12 frets higher. (One octave higher than the given note) For example, 3rd fret of the A string is the note C, if I want that harmonic then I would have to pluck it with my thumb and slightly touch the same note 12 frets higher. Using my pointing finger to tap the note, and my thumb to make the note ring.
