The 06-07 Seaside High School JROTC Color Guard Competition Team at the first Annual Monterey County Drill Meet.

Other schools included Alvarez, Monterey, and Soledad.

We won 1st place!

- C/2LT Michael Rizor (U.S. Flag)
- C/2LT Philip Wolcott (Right Guard)
- C/1SG Omar Delacruz (Cali Flag)
- C/SFC Amber Lopez (Left Guard)

Audio slightly off from video. (Just in case you wonder why it looks like we anticipate the commands)

  • wow..im surprised u guys won 1st. when ur color guard arn't supposed to move their arms. And wow, ya won with that. Man. Shocking

  • Very naïve of you...

Just because one school does it a certain way, doesn't mean everyone else does it the same way. I've been to competitions where numerous Color Guards do and don't swing their arms. It's just the style of the school I suppose. I mean, go look up some more Color Guard videos and you'll see countless other teams swing their arms as well.

Not as if it even matters. I don't suppose taking criticism from someone who favorites "Peter Griffen-dick song" matters much anyway. :S

  • Army I believe always swings their arms. What branch ROTC are you familiar with. Where we compete you can get docked for NOT swinging your arms. So I would do a little research before you go and throw critisism around.
