Stanley the dog annoys Gomez the cat

Stanley's not exactly what you'd call a ferocious guard dog. His main wish in life is to play with the cat. He's like one of those really clingy, annoying people who don't give you room to breathe. Whenever Gomez comes in from his pigeon-killing/mouse-killing/lesser-cat-bullying excursions for a snack, Stanley nudges the hell out of him. Gomez puts up with it for a while, then scares the dog away. Stanley is half labrador, half golden retriever, and we suspect Gomez is half dog.
