The amp is not too bad. It doesn't sound any different than the Marshall DSL50 I sold a few years ago (still miss the Super Lead I bought used in 1973 and sold 5 years later). This one is a super-cheap amp head, I guess that with a good cab (and in the hands of an expert guitar player) it would sound ok
