  • For your information, three stars punches can be found at video 0:26, 0:32

  • Hello just wondering if your school includes the Bak Hok Kum Wu in the curriculum. Im aware Sum Nung had taught different variations in his curriculum at different times just curious if you teach it.

  • @chrisearthmeditator

Yes, we do have Bak Hok Chum Wu in our curriculum. It is a foot work movement combined with hand techniques.

  • Dear Sir, I dont know Yuen Kay San Wing Chun so I have to apologize for my questions. For me it looks when he turns like he isnt in his center. Especially with his hips. Why is this so ? May I have to add I have seen another lineage who stands like this in the butterfly knives set. Kind regards,Darius :)

  • @WahrerDrache Darius, you have good eyes. This is how our lineage works (Yuen Kay-San / Sum Nung / Guangzhou Wing Chun). He did turn away from our "center line" with hips. Not like other style WC, when they turn, they remain in that "center" line... Well, I can say no more than this in here... But your question is very good :)

  • It looks like his techniques are great ! I`ve never heard of the " 12 Seperate Forms ," but it`s true that there are still many Forms & Sets in Foshan / Guang Zhou Wing Chun that are kept quite secret and most people outside have never heard of .Thank you for sharing this .

  • In respond to the secret comment, for this 12-Separate Forms, it is no secret in our school's curriculum. All junior students were trained on this form before they learned Siu Lien Tao.

As you can see this form contains lots of important elements of Wing Chun. Once students get used to the moves in the form, they should have learned enough to protect themselves.

  • Thank you for the explanation of the 12 Seperate Forms . I can see how that would be a great idea to teach/learn from the very beginning .

    Thanks again !
