so why on MPC Renaissance are two usb hubs?

That being said, I say that shit is hot man. Just the way it is, provided the software is tight. The software needs to be tight. But I don't think this thing needs to be stand alone. It's not meant for that. IMHO, its not "the next" MPC its "another kind of" MPC. For cats that want a controller with an interface...if you don't need the interface get the Studio...you don't want to pay for the Studio or you don't want the software get the MPD32 or 26. All bases covered.

Why does the Renaissance need to be stand alone, when you have a 2500 and a 5000 that are stand alone? It weighs 10.5 pounds, Laptop producers can drag it with them. Akai's goal is not to kill the game, their goal is to soak as much money out of the game as they can. 2-3 years maybe they give us a RenaissanceXL that's integrated and stand alone. It's just one of those things, the sooner NI steps their game up the sooner Akai will, they both just do enough to compete against the competition.

The MPC Studio is not stand alone
-
It is stand alone also

The beat is already in the MPC-R if its coming from the outputs. lol. what you talking about? The shit makes no sense from their part. The beat either EXIST in the MPC-R hardware or in the SOFTWARE.

@RikAmmo I FEEL U, BUT I HEARD U CAN RE-SAMPLE THE OUTPUTS BACK IN THE MPC-R AND THEN U GET THAT 3000 SOUND OR 60 OR WHATEVER VINTAGE MODE U GOT IT SET AT
