  • This video is BS marketing piece and bad advice:

-why would he use a power tool to do the cope and a hand tool to do the miter?: Because Dremel does not sell a miter tool.

-a coping saw is faster and their is less lung hazard dust floating around.

-MAYBE using a dremel instead of a file is a good idea.

The only reason he does it this way is to sell the Dremel

  • @emigrantgap ??? HE COULD HAVE PUT THE BASE BOARD IN UP SID DOWN AND BACK CUT THE STRAIGHT EDGE AND THE COPED OR USED HIS DREMEL ON THE FANCY PARTS ??? I THINK HE STORES HIS SAW BLADE UNDER WATER - DID YOU NOTICE THE RUST ON IT ??? I WOULD BE LAUGHED OUT OF THE CARPENTERS UNION FOR CUTTING BASE LIKE HE DOES !

  • odd he uses a hand saw to cut miters, and a power tool to remove waste, i find it easier and quicker to use power miter saws first that a basic coping saw second, touch up with a round file. i voted thumbs down.

  • This could be done much faster with a coping saw rather than a dremmel
