Beef looks great, but the sweet potatoes... I don't know. I would go with some crispy french fries. Cheers.

i live in the uk, as far as i know, we dont have an equivalent to that dried italian dressing, can you think of any alternatives?

Canola oil. When cooking it is a good idea to use an oil that has a high smoke point. I use extra virgin olive oil only as a finishing oil. High temperatures can destroy any flavor the oil may have.
