We got dropped off by the hotel shuttle at Beach del Ray. After walking what felt like 5 miles around the marina full of $1,000,000 boats we hailed a cab to take usthe rest of the way to Venice Beach.

Wanted to go rollerblading here for ages and we have a great day, warm and sunny.

Hired skates and bladed the length a few times. The place is full of crazy people but they are all happy.

The smell of weed is everwhere and there are trials of legal 'highs' everywhere and they have to have a doctor present?!?

We stopped to play tennis or a short version of it anyhow! Pam ran me all over the court and beat me easily, she's so sexy when she is winning!

Had a lovely lunch but Jesus the people eat loads here! The portions are massive. Had the best clam chowder ever.

Bought a new beanie hat and met some crazy people on the beach today. Rolleblasing guy playing electric guitar. Played a great version of All along the watchtower too!

Had to get a cab home as we were so cold once the sun set and now I'm heading off for a lovely hot bath!
