I remember watching my aunt's video of the jaws ride when I was little and when I went there in for the first time in 2001 the only ride I was looking forward to at Universal was the jaws ride. When we got there we were told it was closed for maintance. I was devestated and cried (I was 11) but I knew someday I'd come back and get to ride it. I never did. I was heartbroken at the news and devestated that i'l never get to experience what i've been longing to experince since I was little

@JohnTC9 QUICK QUESTION: It looks like in your video they turned off the splash effect when Jaws gets electrocuted??? was it cold that day???

Cool video, just a few days ago I decided I am going to make the early morning 4 hour drive to be there this Monday for the final day, just bought my one day park ticket today. Just one thing you got wrong, the ride we all know today actually opened on Spring 1993. They were never able to make original ride reliable & ended up redesigning the ride to the one we know today which opened in Spring 1993.
