Bible itself has so many inner contradictions that it's actually impossible to follow it consistently. I think that's why (partly at least) many believers are damn walking contradictions.

@lovingsingleton there is no such thing as "subjective morality". Maybe you are talking about moral relativism (belief, that morality should be relative and different for different kinds of people). One way to "solve the contradiction" so to speak is to have a different preference at the same time.. You get kinda a paradox and possible only theoretically. Believers do easier, they cherry pick things they like and ignore "bad things".
