  • in the sound direct? I thing the film is covered with the sound from cd

  • Dear vstasov , really FANTASTIC documentary, young Kraus is awesome. Do you imagine how fantastic would be to see Visconti's production with Di Stefano and Bastianini?

  • Does anyone knows if this Traviata comes complete???? It is stunning!!!! A perfect interpretation from both Kraus and Callas.!!!! Brava....

  • Thank you so very much for this.

  • MIRACOLO!!!!!!!!!!!

  • La Callas è splendida, ma Kraus è semplicemente superlativo!

  • A miracle - an artistic archeological discovery for the ages. People will be studying this footage one century from today.

Interesting to note her posture, which changed after her weight loss. She carries herself almost like a man - the way she holds her legs apart (for support?), the concave chest. That posture appears in models and movie stars beginning around the 1930s, when svelt became popular.

Whether she did this for support or to carry herself like an art deco statue, I am not sure.

  • ohhh :'(

    addio del passato..

existe esta gravação e eu nem sabia! :'D

  • Kraus excelente Calas nem tanto
