is there a retron 2
-
@thesmashingbrawls It was Discontinued. Not from the site but all together.

Great review
-
Can you play Japanese and European games on these?
-
I got the retron 3 console for christmas, I love it. Plays all my genesis games as it should. I barely notice any changes. I did notice some sound differences in sonic 2. But its still awesome. I got the wired sega 3 button controller and it works great. Like using that better then the wireless controllers the retron comes with.

The switch on the back switches from NTSC to PAL/JP, so it is in fact compatible with imports.
-
they need to make a retro duo with component cables
-
look in charity shops for a original genesis console,
i found a megadrive (name of the genesis outside USA) for £5 with sonic 1.
they usualy work perfectly, the joypad buttons can ware out tho but thats expected for its age
-
is there a clone system that plays Genesis and Snes i dont have any nes stuff so i dont need it
-
@stoneagegamer cool how much is this going to cost????lol at first i thought it was like a genesis cart that lets you play game gear games :)
hey i heard you have a new thing called the everdrive im looking forward to it but can you tell me how it works???

@thesmashingbrawls Basically you can load Genesis and 32X ROM files onto a SD card and the SD card plugs into the EverDrive cart. So you can have all your Genesis games on 1 cart.

@thesmashingbrawls I haven't tried it on GenMobile, but its intended to be used on the actual Genesis hardware. Its a cart with a SD card slot on it.

That little switch on the back of the unit is actually for the Genesis portion, used for playing Japanese games. It first appeared on the GenX DualStation system, and it is supposed to overcome any region lockout in Japanese MegaDrive games by setting the switch to the J position.

@EncoreEnterprisesLLC Actually Hyperkin was who told me that the switch actually does nothing. I assume it was intended to do what you said, but it was never implemented.
