This quirky selection may be deceivingly upbeat at first if you're unfamiliar with it. The funky nature of the Title Theme and World 1 music is undeniably positive, but if I were to make a list of the most over-the-top, in your face, and intricately programed NES music, Treasure Master would be sure to place quite high on it.

Tim Follin masterfully milks the NES sound with deep percussive effects using the triangle wave, and crams in all sorts of intense effects and arpeggios with impressive compositional skill. There's a lot to absorb here.

Damn is Tim Follin just the master of the NES chip, his music is always perfect at being what it wants to be, engaging and freakin' amazing! Your words in the description about him and this OST is spot on Bucky, his compositional skills go beyond what we thought the NES sound chip had. And it just gets better as Tim Follin covers the Starsky and Hutch theme in this Title Theme. Sigh... damn, it's unbelievable, total fits the mood, that you are going to be... the Treasure Master! Thanks Bucky!

I remember this game. When I owned "Treasure Master", I was too young to read. So, I called the game "Cool Boy" because of the kid on the cover. It wasn't until now that I found out the game was called Treasure Master and that there was a contest involving MTV. I miss my childhood.
