OMG it's engine 6620! I've seen that one in real life, it was leading a freight train in Flagstaff, AZ. Sorry for my exclamation, but it's only so much it would be the exact unit that is debuted as the one I saw.

@mt90945557 You know what? Forget responding to my previous comment. I just reported you. Have a nice rest of your fagget life!

@mt90945557 @bobberfie You both go screw yourselves. GE and EMD both make good locomotives. There hasn't been a stalling GEVO in Illinois for over a year and a half (from my source, which is a friend in BNSF) and he says that they are both good. NS is making 18 Heritage units for themselves, 10 are SD70ACe's, the other 8 are GEVO's. Everybody likes NS, so either start saying nice things or go jump in front of a ACe or a GEVO, I don't care which. I'm done with this fighting. Either respond nice,

@lasupport It is what it is. If railroads are buying it, they must like it, so quit you complaining.

What the f$@?k happened to the sf70ace!!!!!

Will people stop arguing about GE or EMD?! Jeez, like seriously.....If you see a lot of ES44's when you railfan it it is telling you that the railroads like them probaly! All this complaining about seeing to much GE is pointless...Sometime they will be gone and something new will come out and you will be wishing you want to see them again...I like GE and as I say when railfanning " I don't care GE or EMD, it's a train so I'll take it.'

@fyadcorp My source would be a DVD that I have from Kalmbach Publishing's Trains Magazine called "Big Power". The video explains the differences between EMD and GE locomotives. Not sure if the DVD is still available or not, but it is a good source of info.

@criind Source, please.

I love it when railfans think they know more than actual railroads, who have entire departments that do nothing but analyze data to determine which new locomotives they should be buying.
-
@TommyBNSF hell yes
All I will say is RAILFANS shouldn't worry about them breaking down or stalling because they DON'T work for the railroad. If you hate a company for something YOU don't use, you are just a retard. And the whole, "It's common" thing is just stupid. So what? It's life, there are going to be things that are common. Get over it. The SD40-2s are not coming back into the market and so just live with the change and don't fucking whine about it. I am NOT here to say GE's are better (no way!)

@phildoethedildoe Um, ok. I know this stuff. I really think you misundestod my comment. I was saying it's odd why people argue over locomotive models. A locomotives job is moving things from point A to point B. I too volunteer with a toursit Railroad. I've heard of you railroad It's not far from my area. I'd like to ride on it sometimes soon. I could honestly care less about who makes a locomotive I like them all.
