Retaliation Shoot-Em-Up Game Demo Movie

A short video of a game I have nearly finished writing. Two years in the making, 'Retaliation' is my first ever game programming project. I did all the programming, art, design, sound and music myself.

Sorry about the poor framerate, quality and aspect ratio! WMM has squashed it and I couldn't be bothered to re-record it in a 4:3 mode. The video does not have any sound. Not sure why, as the game does ...

i like this alot but one thing try making the background non-moving so when u turn it does not turn

But then it would be quite hard to control I think. If your ship was pointing downwards you'd have to press 'left' to turn right and vice versa. I always hated that about the original GTA game when driving.

I love this! More 2D shmups should have a rotatable view/camera!
