personally i liked the movie...but...i just cant stand over the feeling of the engines and pylons sorry bill but i disagree with you on this plus i have yet to hear any decent explanation why it is SO much bigger then the orginal, and why the weapons are setup the way they are with turrets and what not like on enterprise why they couldnt have done it TOS style is beyond me

to me the feeling is like we the older trek fans got thrown to the wolves to make way for new folks which just angers me.

The reason why the new Star Trek was made like that was to appeal to non Trekkies. If this film was made in the way like previous films, I doubt the norm will like it. Well, not like I do not like all 11 films... =P
