To celebrate Diesel's first decade in music, Jarvis Cocker helped Diesel U:Music throw a legendary house party on Friday night.
Taking over The Roost in London's Hackney, four floors of music was supplied by a stellar DJ line-up including Romy Croft (singer of The xx), Jefferson Hack and a well over-due slot by Jarvis Cocker.
The purple cassette invitations sent out to lucky guests had set the tone for this exclusive bash. With a camper van parked outside for smokers, a basement complete with cocktail bar, comfy armchairs and an endless supply of bands on stage, as well as a secret room with Victorian entertainers, the party marked a worthy milestone in supporting new and unsigned music acts.
Oh, and does anybody know the name of the song in this video? I can't find it anywhere :P
