Hi, please could you help? How do you make the camera track instead of pan? Every time I try to move the camera it changes the angle of the background. Is there a way to move the camera without changing the angle of the background, as though you were tracking the camera? By the way, I produced my very first motion graphic sequence today, which I couldn't have done without this tutorial - thank you so much! :-)

Having followed your instructions I managed to produce a similar effect to your guitar animation using After Effects 5.5, so I'm very happy with that! I'm finally on the road to being able to create fancy motion graphics of my own. Thanks very much for making these tutorials, it's much appreciated! :-)

I have an older version of After Effects, called After Effects 5.5 (not CS5.5), and the layout seems a lot different to the one that you use. Is it possible to create stuff like this in After Effects 5.5? Great stuff by the way, and thanks for taking the time to make the tutorials!

@sebanfilm Nice tutorial, but why don't you use a nul-object to animate your camera's position? I think it's easier and faster.

@Huwaetje
you're right, that's the better way to animate the camera. will put it in the next tutorial!

the background (black) doesn't disappear even when I switch it to Multiply mode

@akoposiyuri
in case the background is black, you'd have to put the transfer mode to add. if you are using a PNG with a transparent backround, it should never appear black. where does your PNG come from?
